Tumble Classes

Our tumble classes are structured with a strength building element to all levels from forward rolls to tucks and twists.

Pre-K Tumble (ages 3 – 5)

45 minute class – Pre-requisite: none

Focus:
Introduction of skill development for basic fundamentals of rolls, cartwheels, handstands, backbends. Weight bearing skill exercises. Flexibility & strengthening for body control. *This class is for the younger beginner.*

Class attire:
Girls & boys may wear any color or style leotard or athletic clothing. Hair pulled up and away from the face. No shoes required.

Tumble 101 (ages 6 and up)

1 hour class – Pre-requisite: none

Focus:
Introduction of skill development for basic fundamentals of rolls, cartwheels, handstands, backbends. Weight bearing skill exercises. Flexibility & strengthening for body control. *This class is for the older beginner.*

Class attire:
Girls & boys may wear any color or style leotard or athletic clothing. Hair pulled up and away from the face. No shoes required.

Tumble 1 (ages 6 and up)

1 hour class – Pre-requisite: bridge, handstand wall hold

Focus:
Introduction of skill development for fundamentals of back-walkovers, front-walkovers, roundoffs, back extension rolls. Technique and execution driven exercises. Flexibility and strengthening for body control.

Class attire:
Girls & boys may wear any color or style leotard or athletic clothing. Hair pulled up and away from the face. No shoes required.

Tumble 2 (ages 6 and up)

1 hour class – Pre-requisite: back-walkover, round off

Focus:
Introduction of skill development for standing back-handsprings, front-handsprings, roundoff back-handsprings, back-handspring series. Technique and execution driven exercises. Flexibility and strengthening for body control.

Class attire:
Girls & boys may wear any color or style leotard or athletic clothing. Hair pulled up and away from the face. No shoes required.

Tumble 3 (ages 6 and up)

1 hour class – Pre-requisite: standing back-handspring, roundoff back-handspring

Focus:
Introduction of skill development for round off tucks, round off back-handspring tucks, standing tucks, standing back-handspring tucks, aerials, front tucks, roundoff layout, roundoff back-handspring layout, cartwheel tuck, combination and specialty passes. Individual skill work independently driven. Flexibility and strengthening for body control.

Girls & boys may wear any color or style leotard or athletic clothing. Hair pulled up and away from the face. No shoes required.
